Presidential Suite — Our Largest Luxury Suite in Bikaner

At 1,200 sq ft, this is the largest luxury suite in Bikaner on our property, and the only one with a working fireplace. It earns its place between November and February, when night temperatures here drop to 8°C.

A separate living room opens onto a private, garden-facing verandah. The bedroom sits behind it, set away from the entrance, so the suite works as two rooms rather than one long one. That suits couples who want the space, and families of three who would rather not share a single room.

The Retreat

Royal Suite — A Courtyard-Facing Luxury Suite

At 900 sq ft, the Royal Suite is three hundred square feet smaller than the Presidential and priced accordingly — but the finish is identical. The courtyard aspect means less morning glare and less afternoon heat, which guests staying through May and June usually end up preferring.

Open-plan rather than partitioned, with a sheltered verandah off the seating area. A practical choice for a two-night stay, where the suite is somewhere to return to rather than somewhere to spend the whole day.

At Thar Exotica there are two: the Presidential Suite at 1,200 sq ft with a separate living room, working fireplace and private garden-facing verandah, and the Royal Suite at 900 sq ft, an open-plan suite facing the inner courtyard. Both take a king bed and sleep up to three with an extra bed.

The Royal is open-plan and faces the courtyard, which keeps it cooler through summer. Finish and bedding are identical in both.
