The Destination
Mostly economics. A Rajasthani destination wedding in Udaipur or Jaipur carries a premium that has less to do with the venue than with the postcode. Bikaner gives you the same desert light, the same fort backdrop and the same winter weather, at a materially different number.
It also gives you things the bigger cities have priced out — a baraat on camels that nobody stares at, Junagarh Fort twenty minutes away for the pre-wedding shoot, and a sunset over open desert that starts about fifteen minutes from the property.

Venue settings
Most Bikaner weddings run three to four functions across two days. Having all of them on the same grounds is what keeps the schedule from collapsing.
Outdoor
The main event space, and the reason most families book the property rather than a city hotel.
Twelve acres means the mandap, the dining, the stage and the parking do not have to share ground. Between November and February the lawns work through the evening without tenting; earlier in the season, shade structures go up over the seating.
Indoor, air-conditioned
Climate-controlled, which matters for the December and January functions that run past 10 pm.
Used most often for sangeet and mehndi, where sound and lighting control are easier indoors. Also the fallback for the rare unseasonal rain, so the outdoor plan never depends entirely on the weather holding.
Semi-outdoor
For the smaller functions where two hundred people in a hall feels wrong.
Daytime haldi by the water, or a cocktail evening with the pool lit. Guests staying on property walk down rather than being driven, which keeps the schedule intact.

Where everyone stays
The single biggest failure point in a two-day wedding is guests commuting between a city hotel and an out-of-town venue. Four functions becomes eight car journeys, and the schedule slips from the first one.
Block bookings across all four categories — garden cottages at 480 sq ft up to the 1,200 sq ft Presidential Suite for the couple and immediate family. For guest lists beyond what the property holds, the coordinator arranges city overflow and shuttles.

Catering runs from the resort kitchens — Rajasthani, North Indian and continental, with dal baati churma, ker sangri and gatte ki sabzi cooked properly rather than as a token regional counter.
Menus are set after a tasting, not from a PDF. Jain and pure-vegetarian service is handled as standard, and separate preparation areas are available where families require them.
The open lawns accommodate up to 2,000 guests. Smaller functions run in the air-conditioned banquet hall or the poolside and courtyard settings. Because the property covers twelve acres, the mandap, dining, stage and parking each get their own ground rather than competing for space.

October to March. October and November are the busiest, with comfortable days and evenings that work outdoors without tenting. December and January are beautiful by day but drop to 5 to 8°C at night, so outdoor functions need heaters. February and March are the second peak and often easier to book.
Eight to twelve months for a saya date in October or November. February and March dates are typically available at six to eight months. Off-season dates between April and September can often be confirmed at shorter notice.

The resort is at the 10th milestone on Jaipur Road (NH-11), near Bypass Circle. Junagarh Fort and Bikaner Railway Station are around 11 km, roughly 20 to 25 minutes. Nal Airport is about 26 km, a 35 to 40 minute drive. Transfers can be arranged for guests arriving by air or rail.
Yes, free on-site private parking. This is one of the practical arguments for an out-of-city venue — the twelve-acre site absorbs a full wedding's vehicles without spilling onto the highway.
